So we went up to New Hampshire for what I thought was going to be a relaxing and uneventful weekend. After a day of lounging around and running some errands on Sunday we decided to go snowshoeing (since we have owned them for 3 years and had yet to use them!) and take Jax for a fun outing. Well never had been snowshoeing before so we decided to go and practice in the woods around the house. After practicing in the woods across the street from the house that soon became a bit boring. Paul called Gunstock MT. to ensure we could bring Jax (didn't want to leave him behind!). After about a half hour of walking (snowshoeing) around and Paul suggesting us to sit at every bench we crossed (weird at the time...thought he was out of shape) we came to a scenic walk that was a bridge path that went through some conservation land and went over a cute brook. There were a few people that were there as well and he suggested that we keep going and separate ourselves from them. Well Jax was playing in the little field there and I didn't think that we were in a rush. The people eventually walked away and well, I was focused on the dog and making sure he didn't run off to far and or go into the brook, and when I turned around....there he was on one knee! Very shocking, so much I yelled "shut up!". I didn't know what to do, I definitely did not expect it and again was so shocked! Needless to say I of course said YES!!! The people that were snowshoeing as well ended up coming back and figured out what had happened and congratulated  us and took a couple pictures for us. We continued on our adventure and then went out to dinner to celebrate.
